Job Summary:
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling technical or scientific products to prospective customers. They use their technical knowledge to explain product specifications and complex concepts to customers, perform demonstrations of technical products, and analyze customer needs to recommend relevant products. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, setting realistic sales targets, and meeting monthly sales goals. Technical Sales Representatives must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage their sales territory effectively.
Responsibilities: Prospecting and Lead Generation
• Identify potential clients and reach out to them
• Attend trade shows and networking events to generate leads
• Utilize online resources and social media to identify new opportunitiesProduct Knowledge and Demonstration
• Become an expert on company's products and services
• Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients
• Communicate product features and benefits effectively to potential customersSales and Negotiation
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients

• Seek feedback and implement improvements to sales strategies and techniques.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce, CRM systems).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
