With over 300 employees and several Hot Mix Plants, Asfalcura is one of the major players in the road construction industry in Chile.The role of the VIE Project Engineer will be to ensure the organization and operation of the equipment area and guarantee the reliability, availability, and optimization of the equipment fleet for the execution of the jobs.**_Responsibilities_**- **Management of the equipment fleet of Asfalcura**, including financial, administrative, and regulatory monitoring- **Supervises preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting **organizes and prioritizes interventions on sites and in the workshop, ensures the traceability of interventions on equipment, proposes innovative technical solutions, etc.- **Manages the relationship with the works and the other centers** - Organizes the interventions, assists the operation in the choice and use of equipment, discusses with the Logistics Manager, works, etc.- **Organizes regulatory control** - Ensures compliance with pre-controls, monitors the lifting of reservations, etc.- **Prepares an optimized investment budget (TUM)** in conjunction with the Logistics Manager and Operational Unit Manager.- **Ensures budget management by ensuring the correct analytical allocation of costs** - Monitors the equipment maintenance budget, tracks expenses, optimizes costs, etc.- **Guarantees compliance with the QHSE approach** - Ensures compliance with legislation, actively involved in the One Safety program, identifies, alerts and acts if necessary, concerning risky attitudes in the field or the workshop.**_Profile_**- Mechanic with workshop experience is key.- Spanish, written and spoken, is a plus.- Requires an engineering degree, preferably with 1 to 3 years of experience.- Business Skills - Budget management, specific business software.- Behavioral Skills - Team management, planning and coordination, and customer service.**_Your eligibility for the VIE program_****Important**:- Please note that the V.I.E program requires strict eligibility criteria.
