The Universidad Católica del Norte (Antofagasta, Chile), Department of Economics is recruiting one assistant professor for a two years fixed contract.We invite applications from Doctors and PhDs in Economics and Geography. We will especially value knowledge in the fields of regional economics, economic geography, urban economics, natural resources economics, and economic development. The position requires a medium level of Spanish language proficiency.
The applicant must:
Contribute to graduate-level teaching;Teach undergraduate courses;Develop and maintain an externally funded research program;Contribute to the department's interdisciplinary mission.It is expected that the candidate will be available to start working preferably on November 30th, 2013.
Required qualifications include:
