Temporary Support - Gabis Events Coordinator Job Description: Overview of Temporary Support – Gabis Events Coordinator The Gabis Arboretum is building a team of enthusiastic, passionate individuals to work in a variety of roles at the arboretum.
Possible duties include assisting with the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events, general administrative duties, and cashiering duties.
The schedule is flexible and dependent upon business needs.
Weekend and evening coverage are required.
Position Duration: This position begins May 1, 2024, and ends on October 31, 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities of Temporary Support – Gabis Events Coordinator Assist with concerts and facility rentals such as weddings and birthday parties.
Serve as on-site point of contact during assigned events.
Assist with pre-event setup and post-event teardown.
Respond to inquiries regarding social events at Gabis Arboretum.
Provide continued communication with clients and give venue tours as needed.
Experience of Temporary Support – Gabis Events Coordinator The most successful candidates will have a combination of experience: Previous experience in events and/or customer service role.
Ability to work independently, self-motivated.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong communication skills.
Education of Temporary Support – Gabis Events Coordinator High School Diploma.
