This position reports toInstrumentation Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will manage and target strategic selling of ABB instrumentation (with a focus on pressure and temperature) in all industries and in all the U.S. regions.
The ideal candidate will be technically sound, well-spoken, driven, and capable of exceeding our customer's needs and winning flow meter business for ABB.
The work model for the role is remote.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Houston, TX.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Identify potential projects and present ABB FID solutions that are fit-for-purpose for our customers.Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments for the strategy and plans accordingly to meet changing market and competitive landscapes.Communicate the end user value proposition for ABB Instruments (internally and externally).Support local Sales organization to have an effective perception in all Instrument Measurements.Create and implement the communication, promotion, and training activities in the segment.Achieve key targets (e.g.
volume, price, and mix) for pressure and temperature solutions in the US.Create detailed business plans and implement with regular follow-up.Ensure the major FID Measurement accounts in the US are identified and prioritized.Build and maintain strong relationships with key FID Measurement customers in the US.Work closely with the relevant Sales organization to help in the identification and capture of future business.Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements and prices across segments.Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in sales or product management experience or maintenance; or Associate's degree and 7 years of experience; or 10 years of industry experience.
MBA or Engineering degree in a related field is a plus.Solid understanding of FID, particularly pressure and temperature.Ability to design solutions particular to the customer's needs while driving ABB products into the solution.Obsessive focus on end users, their wants and needs, their goals and objectives.Ability to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners, and our end users.Up to 50% domestic travel, international may be required for training but is rare.Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about usThe Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation.
