What You'll Do The Strategic Manager for Key Projects/Accounts is responsible for advising on how best to achieve the company business goals with a customer-centered approach and the economic and investment scenario of the local market.
It includes the definition of key strategic objectives (KSO) to ensure sustainable growth (with minimal risks), evaluating the local goals and organization to define the optimal way of alignment with the regional/local strategic plans based on specific market/customer knowledge.
The SM is also responsible for elaborating the action plan for long-term relationship development with key and potential customers in order to consolidate Eaton's position as the preferred partner for deploying/execution of growth initiatives (investments profile/criteria) and CAPEX/OPEX projects of key customers.
Contribute to the existing strategic planning process: Identifying growth opportunities Assessing existing and ancillary markets Continuous development of profitable business opportunities, extend engineering support/offering, and installed base management Identifying key industry trends and how they impact the company/opportunities for growth (Joint-Ventures, Strategic Partnerships) Research and analyze new markets for inorganic growth opportunities Elaborate "Account Plans" for "Key Customers" in order to standardize and deploy the strategy, focused on account planning/selling methodology: Create/Update the Customer Profile to identify the G/G T&C, growth strategy, functional & operational goals, owners, customers, suppliers, etc.
Identify the customer Growth Plans/Initiatives/Criteria to properly manage the customer Project Pipeline (especially focused on early-stage projects) Identify and Manage Organizational Chart & Player maps for networking development (Across organizations, considering users and consultants) Elaborate a specific competitive landscape based on each account's requirements Apply a Selling Methodology to manage strategic opportunities Identify Annual Budget for accounts development and support resources for KEY OPEX opportunities (Researching, trainings, selling activities & MKTG campaigns) Promote and Deploy a "project life cycle selling approach" (Linking CAPEX and OPEX/SERVEX services) to consolidate a long-term relationship and improve profitability in target accounts Elaborate and deploy an effective "communication plan" to ensure full alignment with local and global teams/stakeholders improving/creating the synergies needed to meet the strategic goals.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Industrial or Marketing related degree.
More than 5 years of experience in a similar role Deep knowledge of target markets, including competitors' offerings, market dynamics, and trends, and robust networking Advanced analytics and problem-solving skills Strong financial analysis skills Ability to structure complex business problems in a logical manner Advanced knowledge of Software Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, TAS, BM, C360, OBIEE, etc.
Project Management skills to ensure proper designation of available resources Professional communication skills in both languages: Spanish and English Ability to apply consolidated marketing/selling methodologies (like B2B and/or B2C) depending on account/projects evaluation Improve/elaborate current reports management system as per internal requirement/format Customer-centered or Customer-oriented approach Availability to work in different locations (Business Trip) Skills Build Organizational Capability Thinks and acts strategically Gets Results We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
