Job Description Job Description: HR Generalist We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and creative professional to join our HR Team as Sr. HR Generalist based in Santiago, Chile. The HR Generalist will support a variety of Human Resources tasks and programs including onboarding and offboarding of employees, advising people managers on the execution of performance management, coaching, corrective action issues, team building, employee development, well-being, HR-focused trainings, and compliance programs. You will ensure compliance with local law regulations and provide local support for the managers and employees. What will you do? The HR Generalist is an individual contributor position with strategic and hands-on assignments, providing full cycle Human Resources support. Own it: Partner with business leaders and provide them support on workforce assessment, guide/facilitate the performance management cycle, support behavior/performance improvement plans, and help employees fulfill their potential. Customize team building actions and other people initiatives according to leader's and area's needs. Represent the company legally as HR representative in Chile. Influence decisions: Act courageously by sharing viewpoints with others, providing relevant information and feedback. Look ahead: Analyze metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience. A true hands-on approach: Provide local support for corporate programs, creating engagement and well-being plans, diversity and inclusion workshops, change management actions among others. Design and organize main employee events throughout the year. Support and manage: Work with business managers, HR Centers of Expertise, EHS, and Legal areas to address all types of employee issues. Represent HR in internal and external audits. Provide feedback to teams for process improvement. Collaborate: Manage in collaboration with leaders all voluntary and involuntary terminations and hiring processes. This may include planning, costing, and documenting all stages of those processes (with the direction from HRBPs and the support of HR Service Center and Payroll). Partner within HR (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Service Center) and out of HR (Legal, EHS, Facilities, Quality) to provide input, request guidance, and design together specific measures. Communicate: Design and manage HR communications for employees. Who will you report to? You will report to the Mgr. Sr. HRBP LA. Skills, knowledge & experience: Bachelor's Degree required. Professional Fluency in English. At least 8 years of experience in the HR domain; experience in the HR generalist function is required. Good capability in managing dynamic and matrix relations with different levels of the company. Labor Chilean law knowledge. Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
