As part of the broader City Operations organization, our Marketplace team is responsible for the engagement and retention of our users and allocating supply in an efficient and timely manner to support the experience within the app. This position will be responsible for building deep insights about the ride-hailing business from multiple perspectives like pricing, marketplace and competition. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, a data-driven mindset, prioritization capabilities, attention to detail and excellent execution as well as management experience. The role will demonstrate leadership in multi-skill projects and initiatives and will involve significant stakeholder management, collaborating with areas such as Central Operations, Platform and Growth teams, Marketing, Legal, GA among many others. Role Responsibilities: Full owner of strategies to improve user engagement, loyalty and retention and drive marketplace growth. Creating new scalable initiatives to more efficiently create a balanced marketplace. Structuring, leading and executing analysis of data to understand day-to-day behavior of our users. Collaborating with several supporting areas like marketing, product, and user research to help improve the user experience. Leading a team responsible for executing our engagement investment strategy for passengers and drivers. Role Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience. Engineering, economics or other analytically-focused academic background. Masters degrees welcome. Working familiarity/willingness to learn programming languages for data analysis (SQL, Python). Management experience, leading and developing a team. Great attitude and hands-on approach. Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to take ownership of tasks. Clear communicator - able to synthesize a lot of information quickly and highlight the key insights. Proficiency in English & Spanish.
