You will partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. Key job responsibilities: Build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS. Assist with training sessions for customers considering or already using AWS. Collaborate with experienced solutions architects to craft and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community. Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support. Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience. Technical degree desired; Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly; ability to think abstractly. English fluent, written and verbal. Amazon values diverse experiences.
