Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for motivated technologists located in Santiago (Chile) or Buenos Aires (Argentina) who possess a unique balance of technical depth, business knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect.

Technical degree desired; Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly; ability to think abstractly.
- English fluent, written and verbal.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, such as Elastic Compute Cloud, Elastic Block Storage, and Simple Storage Service. Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
- Experience with solution-selling methodologies.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications desired. Other public cloud provider's certifications are also welcome.
