Services Sales Manager The Services Department is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our customers' wind farms, ensuring the best performance of each turbine during its useful life.
Our target is to ensure that the turbines operate at maximum capacity, delivering the best energy production to our customers.
As a key team to maintain our customer's loyalty for the long term.
The Service Sales Manager uses his skills and training to match customer needs transforming it in a value proposition to our customers.
With a very diverse daily work full of opportunities and room for improvements in line with Vestas guidance's as well a creative thinking in a daily basis.
Responsibilities -Service Sales professional will direct front-end assessment of business opportunities leveraging Vestas team and its network of colleagues globally to provide sales & service solutions.
-Tasks include building strategy to ensure Vestas meets FOI, Revenue and CM targets for all segment revenue streams.
-Structures deals with the full breadth of Vestas in mind to understand and support the organizational linkages and impacts.
-Accountable for product line leadership and collaborates cross-functionally with colleagues to promote successful transactions.
-Develops sales strategy and negotiates sound business deals with customers in accordance with company standards.
-Solid leadership in account management activities including issue resolution at different corporate levels -Create and deliver powerful speech to demonstrate the uniqueness proposition.
-Coordinate all aspects of RFP / RFI responses, developing the team thru the mkt opportunities.
-Direct contract negotiations thru its phases from the offer proposition up to its signature.
-Collect and convey internally intelligence.
Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Economics, MBA degree preference.
- years' experience in the following skill sets as they relate to Sales: technical sales, commercial customer communications, contract negotiation, or legal knowledge and has distinct expertise in at least one of these disciplines.
-+ years' experience selling power generation equipment to utilities in the wind industry or complex capital equipment sales.
-Demonstrated achievement in the negotiation and closing of complex long-cycle larger capex agreements where long-term partnering is crucial to achievement.
-Demonstrated achievement in understanding commercial terms, and negotiation strategy, balancing business profitability and customer needs.
-Understanding of how to supervise customer accounts and support team selling.
-Solid leadership skills; demonstrated ability in coaching, mentoring, motivating and developing employees to achieve a highly aligned, motivated and engaged team.
Converts strategy into action-oriented goals and communicates the direction with enthusiasm.
-Demonstrated continuous improvement and quality methodology skills.
-Effective issue resolution and structured problem-solving methodology.
-Effective communication skills in Spanish and English (verbal & written).
Portuguese would be desirable.
