Job Purpose Provides consultation to mines on operational and engineering related issues and continuous improvement, manages special projects, supports product development process through requirements definition, and supports sales/marketing initiatives. Job Duties and Responsibilities • Provides Mining Consulting services related to the Intellimine® product suite • Provides system assessment, engineering analysis, performance analysis, and benchmarking services • Provides change management services for new system deployments • Provides training to new Mine Services Engineers • Solves customer operational problems • Studies and applies "Lean" and Continuous Improvement concepts to customer operations • Creates standard templates and supports knowledge base for services • Assists Sales team for sales of consulting services • Assists with development of customer success of stories for marketing and sales Required Skills • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mining • 5 years of experience in mining engineering, either in operations or in consulting • Planning experience is desirable. • Intermediate to Advance English proficiency • Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement methodologies • Availability to travel up to 50% of the timeThe CompanyModular Mining Systems is the global leader in mine management technology and a wholly owned subsidiary of Komatsu Ltd.
