An important International organization is seeking to hire a Senior Manager of Human Resources to lead their People team of approximately 5 individuals. This position will be responsible for the People area throughout the entire lifecycle for more than 200 employees in Chile. The offices are located in the Metropolitan and in the IV region, with operations in the last one. What will your responsibilities be? Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function of 5 people, developing the HR team's effectiveness, expertise, and reliability. Act as a strategic partner and advisor to local leaders on all employee-related matters, including organizational design, job descriptions, recruitment, benefits, compensation, organizational and career development, mobility and expatriate relocation, performance, promotions, discipline, dismissal structure and succession, change management, and labor relations/union matters. Build and maintain trust with leaders, employees, the union, HR team and other key stakeholders by demonstrating proactivity, agility, discretion, integrity, and holding self and others accountable. Engage employees through active listening and feedback, including regular visits to operations. Collaborate with the internal communications team to ensure employees have timely access to relevant information and updates. Work with other leaders and the People COEs (Centers of Excellence) to develop and implement strategies, structures, and programs tailored to local needs. Act as a local HR and labor relations expert, applying problem-solving, analytical, collaborative, and innovative skills to find effective solutions to ensure the proper operation of the consortium. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws. Oversee HR budget. What are the minimum requirements? Over 10 years in Human Resources, including more than 5 years in leadership positions. Proven success in building and maintaining effective relationships at all levels. Demonstrated success in delivering innovative and client-centered strategic and transactional HR services and solutions throughout the employee lifecycle. Compliance with Chilean labor and employment legislation. Labor relations experience, including collective bargaining management; preferably with experience on a collective bargaining negotiation team. University degree in human resources, psychology, or a related field. Native Spanish speaker. Intermediate English proficiency. Residence in the IV region or at least availability to work a 3x4 schedule in the IV region. Desired: Over 4 years as a Human Resources Business Partner. Experience negotiating collective agreements. Experience working in an international organization. Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field. SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP certification or similar in HR.
