You'll also be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and maintaining strong client relationships. With us, you'll get the opportunity to… define the scope of projects and proposals. lead engineering projects and design reviews and prepare technical reports. plan and coordinate work, from studies to commissioning. draft technical documents and provide technical training in your own field of expertise. help prepare engineering studies such as impact analyses, ground-grid studies, protection studies, arc flash studies and more. prepare detailed engineering designs and technical specifications for construction, assign and review the work of junior engineers (interns), technicians, technologists and drafters assigned to projects. lead QA/QC efforts, validate and assess the technical scope and match deliverables to the scope, schedule and budget. provide construction and commissioning support. develop and maintain lasting client relationships. participate actively in business development efforts and help prepare technical and economical proposals. participate in innovation plans to diversify markets. Team player and collaborative spirit Interest in solving the most complex challenges Safety oriented Action-oriented Ability to make informed decisions Ability to develop the skills of direct reports and other employees Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (civil electrical engineer) Over 10 years of project experience (five of which in a consulting engineering environment) Experience with ETAP, DigSilent, PSSE, SKM Power Tools or other software packages Bilingual (English/Spanish) Practical experience in heavy industrial sectors: mining, oil and gas, electric power (electrical distribution and infrastructure of underground and open-pit mines, protection and control (P&C), electrical arrangement, equipment specifications, etc.) Excellent technical writing skills Knowledge of HV/MV/LV electrical equipment specifications, testing and commissioning Onsite experience and an ability to travel within Chile and internationally Experience with troubleshooting, commissioning and system installation Asset: experience performing cost estimates and preparing and presenting proposals About BBA For over 40 years, we've been pushing the boundaries of engineering to serve our clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
