Location: Fort Wayne Area, Valparaiso, Porter County, and Surrounding Area (Remote/Hybrid Work Options Available)
Lead a team of designers with the development of plans, specifications, analyses, evaluations, maps, procedures, and reports.Oversee the design and building of large construction projects, including roads, railways, airports, bridges, dams, sewage systems, pipelines, and buildings.Prepare project plans, inspect designs, and manage budgets and resources.Create geometric layouts for infrastructure projects and site development for private and public clients.Prepare comprehensive construction plan sets that include plan, profile, note, and detail sheets.Adhere to QA/QC standards and procedures.Collaborate with engineers and colleagues, including mentoring junior staff.Ensure profitability by monitoring budget versus project progress.Possess extensive experience in managing large construction projects and the ability to ensure adherence to construction specifications and standards.Survey new construction sites and assess existing structures for upgrades.Design and recommend improvements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics. Utilize our design software Civil 3D or MicroStation.Great leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Perform cost estimations and preparing project budgets.Preferred experience with drainage analysis and designEnsure that projects are completed on time and within budget.Inspect completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.Document processes and presenting project progress updates to senior managers and clients.QualificationsRequiredA minimum of 10+ years of experienceBachelor's degree in civil engineering.State-licensed and certified civil engineer.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsPreferredLicensed, Professional Engineer (PE) in State of Indiana Please Submit Your Application Please complete the form below to submit your interest in this position.
