Role Overview: Directs, establishes, maintains, and plans the overall policies and goals for Resources Sector in LAM. Responsible for accounts with major customers. Develops and maintains client relationships. Identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by senior management. Ensures business growth strategies are met. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sector and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sector is required.
Responsibilities: Business acumen, business orientedLead the formulation of project and client strategies that include the regional integration of our expertise for solutionsAccount manager and strategy experiences in the execution and development of projects in large miningMay be expected to drive and execute work beyond the scope of individual function through cross-functional or special project teamsMay manage work directly or through othersCreates a purpose or vision for their own area/department that aligns with organizational goalsDevelops and oversees objectives, policies, and procedures for the current and following yearMakes independent decisions and recommendations in the course of managing multiple functional disciplines, one larger functional discipline, or a significant size projectDecisions are for long-range planning, coordination, and technical decisions that can be either specific and/or far-reachingDevelops and oversees the implementation of strategic programs and policies for their groups, which may impact the region, location, or large projectAbility to manage multiple complex projects through others; Works frequently with location and regional management on significant matters influencing the business resultsMinimum Requirements: University degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience20+ years of relevant experience with significant supervisory and/or management experienceExperience in engineering mining companiesExperience in global coordination with different actors in the AmericasSuccessful delivery of sales (over 500 Million USD)International strategy management experience in a regional positionWe're committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
