Position SummaryProfessional responsible for the support of sales engineers preparing and developing highly specific quotations in order to meet customer requirements. AE must prepare competitive proposals, coordinating with Sales engineers and operations in order to have competitive prices, realistic deliveries and meet customer expectations, cover commercial aspects of the business, load orders to factories and perform closer follow up on proposals.
Essential ResponsibilitiesTo know, follow, promote and conduct according to the company Ethics and Values defined within the ITT Code of ConductOpening and handling of proposal folders following the internal procedures and correlative indexing.Keep record over customer list, its segmentation and internal handling in order to differentiate and associate customers with sales engineers, projects and country regions.Deep knowledge of internal procedures in order to properly assign priorities, PSF submittal, necessity of export licenses, import of goods, Order Entry Document Packages preparation, credit requests, IP500 compliance.Commercial understanding of customer requests in order to match ITT IP500 requirements and customer expectations, such as payment conditions, general terms and conditions, penalties, etc.Proposal preparation for Pumps, spares, services, fire packages, PPS, M&C including but not limited to: Technical and commercial Specifications review, data sheet scrub, comments and exceptions development, full command over ITT pump selection software, fluid contact and communications with all factories and value centers.Commercial judgment in order to determine along with sales engineer and/or sales manager the best Price level according to the customer requirement
Position RequirementsBachelor of Science Degree – Mechanical Engineering.2- 3 years experience with pumps and/or other engineered products. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong Customer focus. Results oriented, good computer skills. Strong analytical and technical ability. Experience with mining customers
