Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales and marketing activities of building products portfolio within the assigned territory. As a Sales Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful market adoption of Siemens building products portfolio in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru. You'll ensure that products brought to the region meet local regulations and requirements, whilst aligning with the company's overall business objectives. Furthermore, you'll also be in close contact with customers, partners and key industry figures. In addition, the successful candidate will provide technical support of assigned offerings to our network of highly competent value-added solution partners.
The primary responsibilities include:
Introducing building products portfolios to the market via Siemens' network of value-added partners.Providing technical application support to Siemens Partners (VAPs) and customers across Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru.Represent technical support for the complete portfolio (fire safety, security, building automation and cloud solutions).Analyzing and reporting market requirements, product/technology trends and business opportunities; influencing the market through visits to partners, events and customers.Delivery of comprehensive technical training courses to VAPs, customers and internal colleagues on the Siemens building products portfolio.Manage local technical support enquiries and escalate to global support services where necessary.Managing new and existing product certifications via local testing authorities.Collaboration with global colleagues regarding specific local market requirements.Build up and maintain the client relationship with potential / existing customer accounts, including consultants, and internal stakeholders.Keeping up to date with evolutions in the Fire Safety market (e.g. cloud-based solutions, disturbance free test technology, data-driven platforms).Collaborate with the Sales Team in the market trends and competitors' analysis.Requirements:Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
Degree holder in Engineering or other equivalent disciplines.Fire detection application and building automation knowledge with a minimum of 5 years' experience within the infrastructure business.Understanding of computer software and programming of software-driven systems.Experience in fault finding and servicing of electronic equipment and systems.Experience of working closely with customers, identifying customer needs, and translating them to value propositions and offerings.Good communication skill and high initiative to take up challenges.Can work independently with customer focus.Ability to undertake business travel as necessary.Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
