Job Summary This role is responsible for understanding and explaining the organization's products, building consultative client relationships, and maintaining accurate records. The role analyzes clients' needs and collaborates with internal teams to tailor solutions. The role stays updated with industry trends, transfers knowledge to demonstrate the value of the organization's offerings, and mentors junior resources. Responsibilities Demonstrates a deep understanding of the organization's products and services while explaining product features and benefits to potential customers. Offers technical expertise and support to the account managers in identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and driving revenue growth. Establishes a professional and consultative relationship with clients by gaining a thorough understanding of their unique business needs within their industry. Maintains accurate records of all sales activities, contracts, and communications with clients to ensure accuracy and legal compliance. Conducts thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their specific requirements and challenges and offer tailored solutions. Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and satisfaction. Develops and executes strategies to retain and nurture existing clients leading to recurring revenue and referrals. Ensures adherence to company and industry-specific compliance and ethical standards in all sales activities. Stays informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities and stay competitive. Builds sales readiness and reduces the client's learning curve by transferring knowledge in the specific area of expertise to demonstrate the value of the organization's offerings. Education & Experience Recommended Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
