GHD has an immediate opportunity for a Regional People Leader, Chile. The People Leader will have responsibility for the Chile region.
This position will provide professional and contemporary strategic and operational people management advice and initiates human resource best practices to support the achievement of the region's business objectives and GHD's overall strategic goals.
The position is in our Santiago, Chile office.
Key responsibilities: Coaching and PerformanceCoaches managers on all people related issuesProvides direct employee support through conversation and coaching on employment and career mattersMediates workplace differences/disputesManages performance process, outcomes, and follow-up action for regionWorkforce Planning/SuccessionWorks with Regional General Manager and Center of Excellence partners on specific development and succession needsCollaboratively manages and actively engages with graduate recruitment and development for regionSupports and actively engages with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Inclusion and Diversity LeaderMonitors and provides insights and solutions in relation to staff retention and attraction including a focus on wellbeing and diversityLearning and DevelopmentDevelops a learning strategy to actively support the capability build and professional development of people within the regionSupervises/reviews onboarding and associated training for new employees/groupsAnalyzes talent data to provide insight to the region for training and learning/development prioritiesFacilitates programs and training delivery as appropriateLegal and Policy ComplianceEnsures region people processes are consistent with company policy and local legal requirementsLeads workplace investigations as requiredRegion expert on GHD People PoliciesChampions Diversity & Inclusion Required skills and experience: Min 10 years professional experienceUndergraduate degree in relevant field.
Background in providing generalist HR / People Management advice and services at both the strategic and operational levelBilingual Spanish/English* (written & oral) with exceptional communication skills.Must have experience in a professional services, consulting organization, preferably in A/E/CMay have functional depth of experience in recruitment, organizational development, employee relationsProven ability to establish excellent work and coaching relationships*As part of this function, you will be required to intervene with internal and external key clients within the Americas or global teams on a recurring basis, in both oral and written capacity.
