Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions busca: REGIONAL DEMAND PLANNER DEMAND PLANNER The Demand Planner we are looking for is a bilingual professional with experience in Supply Chain, responsible for the collection and management of Demand Forecast, validated through the S&OP process, by discussing future demand with the Sales area of the company.
The Demand Planner is a proactive person, with high standards of customer service, but also very organized, structured, and responsible.
About the position: The Demand Planner collects, reviews, and adjusts the Forecast data obtained from the system.
He/she plans the system by finetuning statistical forecast to offer to the Sales Area the best Forecast suggested by the system.
He/she verifies and interacts personally, accompanying and participating in weekly coordination meetings with the Sales Areas, analyzing the impact of changes in demand such as: Entry of new products and/or clients, Replacement and Elimination of products, New businesses, Start or End of contracts, Proposals, Production capacities, etc.
He/she challenges the changes of Forecasts discussed with the Sales Areas.
His/her key management indicators are Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Alignment, Fill Rate/Service Level, Inventory Levels, DII, Obsolescence levels, etc.
Coordinates and responds, on a monthly basis, to his/her production counterparts and participates in S&OP Meetings.
Reports and informs the indicators to his/her superior, explaining the variations, and informs the activities to be carried out to improve the process and result.
Your profile: Work experience above 4 years in similar positions.
Technical or Professional Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain, and/or verifiable experience in those areas is required as a minimum.
Fluent English (Portuguese is considered a plus).
Forecast management systems knowledge.
Microsoft Office tools (advanced Excel), Outlook.
Effective communication.
Teamwork.
Others: Availability to work in a hybrid system, 3 days on-site and 2 remote.
Class B driver's license, minimum 3 years of experience (mandatory).
Class D driver's license (preferred).
Residence in Santiago (preferred).
