It is located in the Tarapaca Region, at an altitude of 4,400 meters above sea level and approximately 240 kilometers southeast of the city of Iquique.Project considers the construction of a concentrator plant near the mine; a tailings deposit; a pipeline for the transportation of copper concentrate; a desalination plant supplying sea water:which will be sent by an aqueduct to the concentrator and facilities for the reception, filtering and shipment of the concentrate in the Patache Norte sector, south of Iquique.SUMMARY:Participates in the implementation of the quality and risk management program/plans. Participates in a staff function either in quality program development/implementation/maintenance or in a managementcapacity. Responsible for supervising quality activities on a project as the subordinate to the quality manager or deputy quality manager. May maintain client, contractor and supplier's liaison and communication for project quality activities. Advises management of project quality problems and progress.JOB DIMENSIONS:A. Supervision Received:Receives operational supervision and technical direction from Project Quality Manager or Deputy Project Quality Manager.B. Supervision Exercised:Provides technical direction and supervision to assigned quality, risk management, quality control, quality engineering, technical specialist personnel and third party's quality support team.C. Contacts:Maintains contact with client, supplier quality personnel and regulatory personnel, as directed by manager. Interfaces with suppliers and contractors on quality related itemsESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:1.Implements the quality program/plans for a project at an assigned project location.2.Ensures timely and effective implementation of project quality program/plans.3.Supports the implementation of the project monitoring/auditing program at the assigned construction.4.Directs the implementation of the project monitoring/auditing program at the assigned construction or plant site or project office location.5.Prepares and completes quality audit checklists and participates in audits.6.Provides recommendations to project personnel to correct quality deficiencies.7.Represents the project during audits by management, the client and regulatory agencies as requested by the quality manager.8.Identifies and reports conditions that require corrective action by management and follows up to ensure completion.9.
