We're a huge believer in the importance of being a culture fit for long-term success.About the role:The property accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions required toproduce monthly financial statements for properties owned by KO Management, investment funds, and other joint venture structures. Accuracy and timeliness in the completion of the workload is imperative. This property accountant will be detailed, self-motivated, and thorough and will bring a team-focused and positive attitude with them to work every day.This is a Full-Time Remote position. We are looking for candidates who are available to work in the US time zone (Central Daylight Time).Responsibilities (but are not limited to):Financial Reporting- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reporting packages with required supporting documentation- Prepare monthly financial statement analysis according to GAAP with variance reporting- Analyze the Balance Sheet and Income Statement for each property to ensure accuracy- Assist in the annual audit and tax return preparation- Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned- Reconcile debt on a monthly cadence- Perform other ad hoc month-end close responsibilitiesAccounts Receivable- Process monthly tenant billings and apply to tenant accounts- Process cash receipts and prepare bank depositsAccounts Payable- Process payable invoices: review, code, and acquire proper approvals- Record electronic payments- Prepare and maintain monthly journal entries including reclasses, recurring entries, and other transactions- Fundamental knowledge of general financial accounting and or bookkeeping- Proficient in billing management- Ability to perform administrative work- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles- Proficient with accounting software- Maintains open communication with the accounting team and project managers- Has a "can do," productive, self-motivated attitude- Demonstrates initiative and suggests improved processes- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software- Associate degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field or in line of education, 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Working completely remote- Location independence- 15 Paid leave days- Quarterly bonus- Great opportunity to grow- You'll be joining a high-level and fast-paced teamIf this sounds interesting to you please proceed with your application.Kindly be advised that the recruitment process is being managed by Premier Media.For any further details or inquiries, please reach out to the Premier Media recruitment team, as they oversee all our hiring procedures.Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!#J-18808-Ljbffr
