Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Project Manager or Program Manager in the HUB and be responsible for coordinating and controlling all aspects of your project in accordance with a defined framework and tool set. You will work with your HUB Project and Program Manager(s), HUB Portfolio Manager, business leads, and various stakeholders ultimately accountable to the HUB IT PMO Director.
Responsibilities:
1. Work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within scope, budget, and timeline.
2. Confirm resource availability and allocation.
3. Manage tasks of a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
4. Ensure the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
5. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
6. Coordinate internal resources, 3rd party suppliers, and delivery partners as required.
7. Ensure risks and issues are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
8.
Adhere to governance as defined within the PMO process.
9. Ensure project documentation is produced and maintained.
10. Work within the company's financial processes.
11. Engage with stakeholders as required.
12. Work outside normal working hours where project delivery requires it.
13. Always adhere to WSP Health and Safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required
1. Enrolment in a relevant program/project management qualification preferred (e.g., PRINCE Practitioner, PMP).
2. ITIL v3 Foundation as a minimum, preference for certification in one or more of the following: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement (Desirable).
3. Practical knowledge of methodologies and frameworks: Lean, six-sigma, Agile. PMI-ACP desirable.
4.
Experience with knowledge and understanding of governance frameworks.
5. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Willingness to learn and develop skills into the profession of Project/Program Management.
Preferred
1. Excellent written and spoken English is required.
2. Willingness to be coached and mentored.
3. Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with peers and leaders.
4. Working experience in project management.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
7. Must be a proactive self-starter who can also work effectively in a team environment.
8. Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking.
9. Attention to detail and the ability to identify and seek assistance with resolution on complex problems.

11. Act as a professional ambassador for the IT PMO Organisation.
