Job Description This Procurement Lead is responsible for all procurement activities in relation to a Construction Project, inclusive of design, construction, and FFE. The role is responsible for the management, execution, and delivery of sourcing and procurement activities. The Procurement Lead shall drive full compliance and full adherence to client's Management Policy, Enterprise Supply Chain Policies, Third Party Management Policies, and all other client's policies and guidelines and regulatory requirements, within a construction. Qualifications A natural Leader with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong Technical and Management experience in strategic procurement within corporate real estate. Practical experience in delivering commercial and contract management during the delivery. Knowledge in all procurement stages in construction projects. Driving savings through administering competitive sourcing activities. Coordination with client Legal team, client Third Party Utility, client Insurance, and other client supporting functions. Planning and scheduling all procurement activities, including coordinating client Realty Services and its advisers on their contributions to procurement activities. Leading supplier negotiations and selection. Knowledge of contracts in construction projects. Coordinating and preparing approval packages for client's senior management to enable contract awards. Processing contract awards and signatures to enable purchase orders to be issued by others. Stakeholder engagement and management during the procurement process to keep the team informed and updated on procurement activities. Providing ad-hoc and recurring updates to the broader client's network (e.g., weekly newsletters, trackers, etc.). Collaborating and partnering with teams across the wider Enterprise Supply Chain organization, with close engagement with the Regional and Global Sourcing Managers to align Sourcing strategies. Working in partnership with Regional Managers to leverage Global/Regional Suppliers to minimize the local country supply base and maximize global agreement opportunities. Developing a clear understanding of both Global/Regional Sourcing and Stakeholder teams. Managing and reporting on the performance of the project procurement function utilizing key performance indicators. Using all metrics and SLA's available to address upcoming risks. Providing guidance on procurement services to the Project team so that these are fully understood by all operators and are properly evidenced. Partnering with the client's Third Party Utility to support their tasks and initiatives in third party management. Providing input into systems and process enhancements to the Global Sourcing Lead through participating in workshops and escalating challenges and successes. Escalate issues and concerns in a timely manner. Knowledge in SAP's purchase requisitions related modules. Proven work experience with sourcing process in construction projects.
