About the roleWe are currently looking for a highly motivated professional to join our team as Principal Program Management Office (PMO) in the BHP Projects team. This role is located in Santiago, Chile eventually with trips to northern Chile.
Reporting to the Superintendent PMO, this role is responsible for portfolio controlling and reporting, governance, investment committee management and preparation of key procedures for Vicepresidency of Projects (VPP) providing timely and accurate insights to senior leaders and other business stakeholders.

In this role you will:
Build strong working relationships across all levels within the global and regional projects organization to coordinate the development of key documents and the assurance of governance (including change management and proper communication of these procedures).Continually challenge the way in which processes are developed suggesting and implementing improvements where required (in toolkits, processes and systems).Provide guidance and coaching to Projects team members regarding new procedures, governance changes, global initiatives and tools.Act as the interface between Projects team and global teams working on improvements or new initiatives (ensuring that any impacts to Projects team processes and systems are understood and managed effectively).About YouAs a successful candidate you will possess the following:
