SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for agronomy sales and relationship building through excellent customer service with internal and external customers in Chile. This is a full-time role for a Precision Agricultural Sales position at Pollen Systems SpA.
The Sales role will involve promoting and selling precision agricultural solutions, providing excellent customer communication, analyzing market trends, and driving sales growth within the agriculture sector.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Agricultural Sales Representative in the Curico, Chile area to help drive sales and build strong relationships with current and future customers. As part of our team, you'll have the chance to scout farms and offer our advanced agricultural analytics for growers and work with our team internally to contribute to the success of our rural farming communities!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes the following and other duties may be assigned):
1. Build strong and loyal relationships with customers. Maintain current and potential customer base. Will be based out of Chile with possibility of travel to other areas.
2. Consult with producers about their farming plans for fertilizer, seed, and chemicals. Provide estimates and prices in exchange for our technology.
3. Responsible for field scouting, pest identification,
and determining the right control measures to resolve customer concerns. Possess knowledge of the PrecisionView platform.
4. Create and implement sales plans after consulting with management team. Research and develop a list of potential customers. Make cold calls to those customers.
5. Make recommendations to management on opportunities to maximize sales.
6. Understand pricing on direct-to-farm sales.
7. Responsible for keeping knowledge current regarding agronomy, technology, and safety regulations. Stay current with agronomy industry and marketing information.
8. Ability to build rapport and communicate professionally and effectively with the team and customers.
9. Visit farms to meet new and existing customers.
10. Manage and track bookings, completing claims and invoices.
11. Arrange for product and service delivery dates.
12.
Employee is required to perform all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- At least two years of Agronomy and Sales experience.
Qualifications:
- Agricultural Production and Agriculture knowledge.
- Analytical Skills.
- Sales expertise.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Experience in the agriculture industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field.
SALARY:
Commission based with additional salary of $11,326-13,214 once $100k of sales is met.
