Position Name: National Plan Principal Reports to: HoS (Head of School) Time commitment: Full-time This position is the School Head for the Ministry of Education and, as such, is responsible for compliance with Educational Regulations and Policies, Child Protection Regulations and Legalities, Chilean Curriculum, and Labor Relations. Working closely with the HoS and the Divisional Principals, the NP Principal fosters an inclusive and caring community. Main Duties and Responsibilities Regulations and Procedures Enrollment, Validation, Transcripts, and Chilean Diploma (SIGE). School Internal Regulations Handbook. Declaración del Sostenedor. Implementation of new laws and regulations. Academic Ministerial Requirements National Plan Curriculum and Nido Curriculum Accreditation. Assessment Policy and Promotion. National Standardized Test. Child Protection and Community Supports the HoS, Child Safeguarding Lead, and SCL Coordinator to comply with local regulations regarding Child protection. Supports the HoS and Divisions in fostering a safe and caring community, with special emphasis on local staff, parents, and students. Labor Supports HR with compliance with local labor regulations for teachers, and Legal authorization for teachers who do not have a Chilean Teaching Certificate (Autorizaciones Docentes). Participates and leads Labor Relations activities, fostering a positive Working Climate. Facilitate conflict resolution, including Ley Karin, Inspección del Trabajo/Labor inspection, and Labor Court.
