PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Run, coordinate, and execute the commercial and marketing management of Bekaert Latam Mining segment, to achieve the established X+1 sales budget, margins, and market share (Shovels, Draglines and Shaft).
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Propose the annual sales budget, margins, working capital, marketing and investments for the Latam Mining business line.
Propose the adaptation of the commercial strategies of the Mining niche based on the global strategy, to achieve the budgeted goals for Latam.
Plan and verify that inventories allow to achieve the business goals of Bekaert in the segment, in compliance with the financial objectives of BBRG.
Report and explain monthly business results (sales, margins, working capital, forecast, Mkt Share, others) to Local and Regional Management, to contribute with commercial vision to decision making concerning to Budget deviations.
Visit and provide technical and commercial support to Distributors and End Customers of the Mining segment.
Coordinate and control the commercial actions of the sales team, to ensure compliance with segment goals.
Ensure compliance with the sales budget (X+1) of the region.
Verify the level of customer service to improve customer loyalty and avoid fines.
Propose credit levels for different customers and follow up on collection to ensure timely recovery of funds.
Contribute through commercial vision to the development of new products, solutions and services, to generate new business and increase the market participation of Bekaert in the Latam segment.
Ensure compliance with the corporate, conduct, image, communications, and branding policies of Bekaert to ensure standards and guidelines.
Control the management of customer complaints, ensuring a timely and quality response to ensure transparency and customer loyalty.
Ensure that the sales team collaborating in the segment has the necessary technical training in the products and their applications, to ensure compliance with the goals.
OCCUPATIONAL PROFILE ACADEMIC BACKGROUND: Degree and Specialty - Mechanical, Civil Industrial or Commercial Engineer.
- MBA desirable - Full use of Microsoft tools.
TECHNICAL SKILLS Mining market knowledge Knowledge of operations with shovels, cranes, heavy machinery.
Knowledge about the management of Tenders and Supply Contracts in large mining.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS (Personal Mastery, Communication, Mentoring) Commercial skills and customer orientation.
Motivation for commercial actions on site.

Easy communication.
Health compatible with the mining activity at high altitude.
