Our Proposal We're seeking a Mid-level Database Engineer with a strong background in SQL Server , MySQL, and PostgreSQL database management and administration .
You will partner with product support, and DevOps CSM to keep databases secured, healthy and up to date to meet SLAs.
As part of the Database Operations Group , you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing databases in the AWS Cloud.
You'll need to have a solid understanding of RDS cluster, take snapshots of RDS instances, monitor database performance issues, and resolve them.
Previous experience in Banking and Financial Services is preferred.
Your main responsibilities will be...
Manage and optimize databases ( RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL ).
Ensure database security, backups, and performance tuning.
Implement and deploy changes in production/QA environments.
? Diagnose and troubleshoot database issues.
Automate routine tasks and improve database processes.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior DBAs.
Collaborate with support teams and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups.
Job requirements: ? 5+ years of experience in database administration roles in MSSQL, MySQL, and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
? Experience with AWS cloud services.
Advanced English proficiency.
You will work with international teams from all over the world.
? Must have AWS and Aurora PostgreSQL database management and administration experience.
