Job Description The Construction Mechanical Engineer ensures that the electrical drawings are accurately implemented, and that materials and equipment are reviewed, approved, manufactured, and delivered on site as required. He/She ensures the quality of the work meets requirements and verifies that there are no security risks during construction tasks that could impact people. Responsibilities: Oversight of Mechanical contractors Conduct construction coordination meetings with team members, OFE vendors, and GC regarding Mechanical issues Conduct regular site inspections for progress, quality, and safety in Mechanical works Liaise with Mechanical technical inspectors and commissioning agents for Mechanical activities Produce Mechanical daily/weekly/monthly reports Review and provide feedback on GC (Mechanical) daily/weekly/monthly reports Support in constructability review of documents Conduct and sign off on OFE CDE reports and technical recommendations for GC equipment, materials, and subcontracts Evaluate purchases and subcontracts regarding Electrical specialty Support on commissioning activities Verify contractor's progress Assist with equipment and OFE contracting and expediting Update the project schedule according to contractor schedule and progress Review vendor performance Develop equipment and material requisitions by drafting scope and gathering technical specifications Develop contracts requisitions by drafting scope and gathering technical specifications of Mechanical discipline Review engineering deliverables and check compliance with client's requirements Support QA/QC process during the project Manage Mechanical technical inspection activities Qualifications Minimum of 15 years professional experience 5 years experience in a similar role Experience/Skills/Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Previous experience in project management and design management for Industrial Projects Experience in end-to-end service full project delivery Experience in Industrial Projects Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
