At Zelestra, we are looking for our new Market Operations Manager LATAM.
This position reports directly to the Commercial VP LATAM, with a matrix report to the Global Head of Market Operations in Spain.
Responsible for managing the revenue settlement and market obligations of power plants and power supply contracts of the company in Latin America (Colombia, Perú and Chile).
The Manager will define systems, people and processes to guarantee seamless commercial operations within the region.
ResponsibilitiesOversee and verify the settlements calculated by the ISOs.Plan, anticipate and manage asset events in front of the ISOs.Manage guarantees required for spot transactions, PPAs and other market related.PPA tariff calculation and invoicing to customers.Envision opportunities to optimize the company's margin through short-term opportunities.Design market dispatch strategies along with operational teams.Structure main processes within its scope of activities in line with the Commercial area standards.Partner with digital partners to implement a data structure to promote digitalization of settlements, processes, analysis ensuring efficiency.Build recurrent reports and analyzes to explain the market operation results.Define which services should be internalized and externalized.Follow-up on market regulation and dynamics affecting the short-term market operations.Accomplish and/or coordinate the market related and other contract performance obligations arising from the contracts executed by the company.Job RequirementsElectrical Engineer or Equivalent.At least 10 years of combined experience within the electrical industry.Over 5 years of experience in market operations in similar companies.Proven experience managing renewable energy assets.Experience working for the LATAM Market will be a plus.Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management.High level of knowledge in power market regulation.Advanced or native Spanish.Advanced or native English.What we offerHealth insurance.Other benefits.Zelestra celebrates the diversity of thought and experience that comes from a variety of backgrounds including, but not limited to, gender, age and ethnicity.
