About Risk and Quant Solutions (RQS)
Risk and Quant is one of the fastest growing practices at Evalueserve. As an RQS team member, you will address some of the world's largest financial needs with technology proven solutions. You would solve these banking challenges and improve decision making with award-winning solutions.
What you will be doing at Evalueserve:
We are looking for someone to lead our local Chile team of 2 professionals that supports the Index Strategies team of a top global investment bank, with a special focus on emerging markets.
This role includes hands-on responsibilities to maintain indices and to help coordinating the team book of work with our teams in India and our client's counterparts located across the globe.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the book of work of the Chile team, including 2 additional team members in Chile
- Close communication with our Client stakeholders located in US, UK and India
- Participating to monthly governance meetings
- Development and maintenance of the platform for the production of indices.
- Programming: developing and testing index-related applications.
- Taking care of day-to-day issues associated with maintenance and delivery of indices to clients.
- Delivery of monthly performance reports.
- Performing data quality checks to ensure the quality of input for index calculation.
- Monthly rebalance of indices.
- Maintaining and developing BI applications
What we're looking for:
- Engineering degree (commercial, civil, or industrial)
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to supervise tasks, projects and team members, maintaining stakeholders in the loop.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Strong SQL Skills
- Proven Python and VBA practical knowledge.
- Knowledge of capital markets asset classes, ideally in Equities and derivatives.
- Azure knowledge (Preferable but not mandatory)
- Strong command of Excel and data manipulation.
- Meticulous, with strong attention to detail
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
