Job Description Visa is looking for an individual to join our consulting and analytics practice and play a key role in developing and delivering high impact projects with a primarily focus in Chile, as well as other South Cone markets including Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The potential candidate will proactively engage with Visa clients (including issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, fintechs), by scoping, delivering and implementing projects and solutions with issuers, acquirers and merchants.
This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both the preferred brand and unique business partner.
Potential engagements could include definition of strategies and value proposition of products or businesses, portfolio management diagnostics, authorization optimization strategies, assessments of digital product and marketing programs, development of new products with implementation roadmaps, optimizing client customer servicing processes and overall economics and profitability, among others.
Specific responsibilities include: Foster new consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagement by identifying potential opportunities with clients Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities Manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to determine meanings insights and recommendations for clients Build new solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting approach that can be applied across VCA practice Lead and assure implementation of consulting projects with clients, following-up key measures and impact of recommendations through KPIs Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global/regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's resources Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, highly analytic individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to support client's growth and performance.
Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.
This is a hybrid position.
Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required – MBA preferred - 4 to 6 years of management or business consulting (with relevant industry experience in financial services/payment), retail banking/cards management experience - Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing ROI.
Understanding of card issuers' P&L and critical factors in driving profitability a plus - Previous exposure to digital banking and/or digital commerce will be considered an added value - Technology mindset, digitally curious, up-to-date with digital and technology literature are highly desired - Knowledge of analytical models applied in data analysis to obtain business insights - Deep experience in credit risk and/or fraud risk a plus - Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently - Ability to communicate and write documents in English - Excellent communication, story-telling and E2E presentation skills (specially by designing, building and showcasing project results packages and delivery materials) - Great team player Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
