Monitor and control warehouse inventory by overseeing, directing and coordinating the movement of supplies, products and merchandise into and out of the warehouse. Review, validate, analyse, monitor and propose countermeasures for deviations of contractual and operations KPI´s results of the operation (3PL, transportation and other contractors).
Responsibilities Monitor the 3PL performance for KPIs of timing, consistency and finance. Help manage inventory levels, identifying where we have too much inventory and assisting the team in maximizing profit while optimizing service and cost. Minimize cost, working capital and supply chain losses, optimizing service levels – Safety stock- FEFO. PO Management - guarantee PO packaging and labeling – PO copacker – PO WH and PO Transportation. Balance in/Out capacity - Oversee and assist the 3PL with the correct loading and unloading of deliveries. Guarantee the warehouse operational procedures such as delivery, returns, stock taken, etc. Maintain inventory records of warehouses and databases, and coordinate with the principal DC. Lead logistics initiatives (WH, transportation). Establish weekly and monthly re-stickering and labeling plans and define priorities. Provide regular inventory reports to management. Support 3PL in verifying the accuracy of incoming inventory and resolve any discrepancies between paperwork and inventory received. Track and manage inventory by completing regular cycle counts and lead the stock-taking inventory.Competencies Numeracy skills. Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SAP, WMS). Inventory management experience (FEFO, quality, stock analysis). Understanding of warehouse management procedures. Teamwork. Organizing and planning skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Communication skills.Education Commercial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics.
Experience Minimum 2 years in the logistics area.
