Lifting Project Manager Location: Santiago or Antofagasta Contract: Indefinite Start Date: June 2024 The Mission Under the authority of the Lifting Operations Director (LOD), the Lifting Project Manager (LPM) responsible of the success of the projects assigned to him. Which include, ensuring the day-to-day management of the coordination of the equipment fleet, the accreditation process, the budget ans scheduling, the lifting operations and the lifting specialist attributed to the project. Key Responsibilities Responsible of the success of the attributed projects Ensure project coordination whit DOL and customer Plan and coordinate the use and movement of the equipment fleet, within the projects, to promote optimal use Anticipate customer needs in collaboration with the Regional Sales Directofro r optimal coordination Ensure customer relationship for short-term or long-term projects Ensure, in collaboration with Regional Sales Directors, local customer service to customers in the context of carrying out lifting operations in their territory Supervistehe activities of the Companytraction staff on site, within the attributed projects Coordinate and supervistehe execution of preventive maintenance work and repairs Participate in lifting operations coordination meetings Monitorth e operating costs generated in the project and compare them to the budget Be present on site often to ensure close supervision of of the projects and stay in communication with customer Ensure the deployment of the EHS plan and standards on its territory and on supervised sites Ensure the good condition of the equipment and inform the LOD of the need to adjust the maintenance plan Lifitng specialist role Regularly carry out lifting operations according to standards and established planning Perform maintenance when necessary Team supervision Functional supervision (day-to-day management) of lifting specialist within the attributed projects Supervise operator training, identify training needs and communicattheem to the LOD Stakeholders Reports to the Director of Lifting Operations Participates in the lifting operations coordination meeting Collaboration with Regional Sales Directors Requirements * Engineer or technician wiht high relevant experience (must) * 2-5 years coordinating heavy equipment fleets maintenance (must) * 2 years of experience in lifting equipment for mining excavators and shovel equipment (desired). * 2 years in a team management or project management role (must). * Availability to Travel around 100 days per year (must) * Fluent in English Skills * In-depth knowledge of mining excavator lifting operations, including maintenance practices and safety standards * Knowledge of preventive maintenance of mining equipment * Knowledge in project management (budget, schedule, resources management) * Ableto carry outlifting on site with the Company Equipment (skill developed and certified at the Company)
