About the role Draft and review legal documents and a wide variety of contractsAdvise internal clients in all matters related with corporate, commercial, environmental and labor lawResearch and respond to general legal inquiries from the business that may relate to disputes and litigation, regulatory issues, intellectual property, privacy matters, fraud issues, and client complaintsAct as a business partner to the business, providing legal orientation and back office support to different company processes and negotiationsReview, develop, collate, negotiate and assess potential risks of client and sub-consultant contract documentsDevelop and provide training to the business on various legal topics, including anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, competition law, contract negotiation and administration and other emerging issuesPrepare detailed recommendation for approval of contractual and commercial documentation and coordinate internal approvalSummarize legal and commercial requirements of executed contracts and participate in contract handover meetings with project team membersActively support senior management by developing high quality innovative commercial proposals and pricing strategiesAbout you Law degree granted by a Chilean University.3-5 years of post-call legal experience in corporate/commercial law, preferably with both a top tier law firm and as an in-house lawyer in the mining, energy and/or construction industriesSolid understanding and background in legal concepts applicable to the engineering services and consulting businesses, including EPCM and EPC projectsImpeccable attention to detail.Ability to work independently, as well as in a teamAbility to meet the challenge of tight deadlines and working under pressureExcellent written and oral skills in Spanish and EnglishStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational skills and ability to work with all levels of managementAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Why Ausenco?
