This is a Contract/Consultant position.
Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.

Position Overview In a fast-paced, high-expectation, results-oriented environment, the Legal Billing Analyst will be responsible for the control of the legal budget, including tracking, invoices reconciliation, and timely processing of payments to external law firms.
Review the budget to ensure compliance with company policies and negotiated fee arrangements Request billing projections and forecasts for ongoing cases to facilitate financial planning and budgeting Prepare detailed reports on legal billing expenditures, trends, and cost-saving opportunities for senior management Review legal invoices to ensure alignment with the respective engagement letter and litigation tracking reports Monitor and report financial information received from law firms Perform other projects and duties as assigned Requirements Previous experience in accounts payable, legal billing or auditing; preferably in the US Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing or Finance Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and computer skills Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Detail-oriented and resourceful with excellent follow-through skills Proficient in all Microsoft Office, Power BI and Adobe applications Able to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally Benefits Contract/Consultant position Compensation DOE 11 US Paid Holidays Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Legal Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
