What are we looking for?
We have an amazing opportunity to join the Learning Experience Team as a Learning Designer In this role you will contribute to the creation of high-quality learning solutions with a primary emphasis on enhancing the learner's experience.
This role specializes in learning artifact development and is responsible for creating engaging and impactful learning deliverables that leverage a variety of multimedia formats, including video, gamification, podcasts, infographics, eLearning, social learning and blended learning.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Learning Artifact Production:
- Design and develop eLearning artifacts that adhere to instructional design principles and predefined learning objectives.
- Contribute to the creation of interactive and engaging content to elevate the learner's experience and optimize learning outcomes (videos, games, podcasts, etc.).
- Create learning packages for stakeholders to use with learner groups (selecting relevant readings and developing conversation guides; agenda development for in person events, etc.)
Support Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the Learning Experience Leader and Learning Solution Specialists in the development of learning solutions.
- Offer technical and creative assistance to team members, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality artifacts.
Learning Technology:
- Collaborate with colleagues in HRIS to support creation of learning modules, tracking and reporting in the Learning Management System.
- Stay abreast of the latest eLearning development tools and technologies to maintain proficiency in the field.
- Demonstrate agility in adapting to new systems and tools as technology evolves within the learning and development landscape.
Quality Assurance:
- Assist in conducting comprehensive quality assurance checks on developed artifacts to ensure alignment with design principles and organizational standards.
- Support in addressing and resolving technical issues to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of learning solutions.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, multimedia design, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in learning development, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and interactive learning artifacts.
- Ability to work independently with direction from the Learning Experience Leader.
- Strong organizational skills for personal work.
- Creative mindset to generate fresh ideas for multimedia content and learning experiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to create insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to training and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for storytelling and content creation.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and various learning modalities, with an understanding of how different media can affect learning outcomes.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multiple projects or project objectives simultaneously to tight deadlines.
- An ability to quickly build rapport by active listening + dialogue.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to create content that is accessible to diverse audiences.
