Our overarching priority is the safety of our employees, partners, contractors, and suppliers, and we strive for zero accidents across our entire business.Leading the energy transition, we at Akuo strongly believe that clean and never-ending, renewable energy is the best way to meet our current and future energy needs while avoiding greenhouse gas emissions and climate change.The Junior Development Project Manager reports directly to the Development Manager of Akuo Chile.Jr. Development Project Manager is:- under the direct supervision of and reports to the Development Manager of Akuo Chile- liaise with the Head of Technologies at the HQ, for technical support and alignment/sharing of working methodsSPECIFIC TASKS AND DELIVERABLES:General Responsibilities:- Manage utility scale wind, solar and storage projects- Oversee landowner lease negotiations in projects involving one or many landowners- Establish, monitor and update development budgets and schedules as required through the development phase- Coordinate the project interconnection process, including grid integration studies and grid connection agreements- Oversee project environmental and wildlife studies- Review and update business plans/forecast models- Provide support in negotiation of power purchase and asset agreements- Oversee project consultants, including environmental, engineering, transmission, etc.- Community engagement, public meeting, public presentations- Performs other duties as assigned- Working knowledge and ability to perform and complete performance monitoring and energy yield assessment- Working knowledge of electric regulations on the countries where projects are developed.Financing phase:- Support on contracts technical annexes- Support to the financing team during due diligence processesDuring all phases:- Lead the improvement process of internal development tools- Contribute to securing new project opportunities- Capitalize return on experience - lessons learned process improvement**Qualifications**- Electrical engineering School or Master in a renewable energy related specialization- Minimum 2 years of experience on Project Management, preferably in renewables- Good team working and team management skills, team spirit.- Adaptability and rigor, with strong analytical skills- Experience in an association project, either scholar or personal, would be appreciated.- Flexible to travel- Driving license
