We are currently looking for a Junior Flutter Developer. What do we value? The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on experience in Flutter development. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the development of mobile applications using Flutter, leveraging your existing knowledge to contribute effectively to the team's project. Develop and maintain widget tests for all components or screens built during development. Develop and maintain unit tests for all controller components built to render UI components. Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and encourage team growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features. Implement localized content to support apps for multiple languages. Utilize Android Studio for native Android Development (or) use XCode for iOS development, to enhance and maintain existing applications. Necessary skills and experience required: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Flutter development. 3+ years of experience in mobile application development with a focus on Android or iOS platforms. 2+ years of experience in Dart language. Solid understanding of Android Material and/or iOS Human Interface design guidelines. Hands-on experience in writing Widget and Unit tests. Experience writing flutter code using Bloc predictable state management library. Solid understanding of mocking frameworks such as Mock, Mocktail etc. Strong debugging skills to triage and resolve production and blocking issues. Strong team player with ability to produce results by working independently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver on project goals. Why Cognizant?
