Job Announcement | Universidad Católica del Norte - Recruiting Two Associate Professors The Universidad Católica del Norte ( Department of Economics is recruiting two associate professors for researching and teaching activities. We invite applications from Doctors and PhDs in Economics and Geography. We will especially value knowledge in the fields of regional economics, economic geography, urban economics, natural resources economics, and economic development. The position requires a medium level of Spanish language proficiency. Responsibilities include: Contributing to graduate-level teaching Teaching undergraduate courses Developing and maintaining an externally funded research program Contributing to the department's interdisciplinary mission with publications It is expected that the candidate will be available to start working preferably on August 1st, 2014.
