JOB SUMMARY The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships (both internally and externally) through assessing their needs, goals, risk appetite and investment horizon in addition to attracting new Funds Under Management by client acquisition. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
SALES: Client Acquisition, Maintenance and Retention Identifies and meets with prospective, new and existing clients with a view to achieving sales/revenue targets as per annual plan.Establishes and develops a strong network of referrals and COIs (Centers of Influence) to create client target lists based on agreed target segments.Actively promotes FCIS's Suite of Investment solutions and services by conducting financial planning meetings and presentations and attending seminars and events while cross-selling the Group's products and services to increase wallet share.Prepares and submits customized proposals/information based on model guidelines and investment calculators provided by in-house departments, for potential and existing high net worth (HNW) and corporate clients.Reviews clients' portfolios and recommends adjustments in strategy, in line with changing market conditions or changing client needs or diversification opportunities.Assists with the development, implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategies and identifies opportunities to achieve the same.Makes recommendations to management on initiatives/projects to develop new products and services, as well as revise existing ones.Interacts regularly with potential and existing clients (internal and external) to keep clients abreast of information on local, regional and international securities for various initiatives (based on risk tolerance, financial capacity, investment needs and goals etc.)
utilizing established asset allocation strategies.Facilitates unique fixed income and equity-related investment offerings that come to market.Keeps up-to-date with competitor, market and industry offerings, strategies, rates etc.
in order to provide competitor analysis to the clients.OPERATIONAL: Onboards clients in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as the company's approved standards, policies and procedures, while maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.Ensures compliance with all Know Your Client (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations.Processes clients' transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as the company's approved standards, policies and procedures, while maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.Collaborates with various departments within FCIS and the wider group to produce responses to client transaction and investment guidance requests.Ensures that clients' personal records, in addition to transaction records/files are maintained and updated where necessary.Prepares and submits requisite sales and business development reporting as requested by Management (e.g.
tracking/pipeline reporting etc.
).Assists with the review/revision of the Centre's processes to enhance operational efficiency.Monitors client transactions for any suspicious/unusual activities and reports same as set out in the AML Policy.Completes special projects and other related activities as assigned by the Manager.CUSTOMER SERVICE: Solicits and analyzes feedback from clients to address service gaps and ensures that the level of client service is maintained and ensures client experience is positive.Responds to customers' requests, inquiries, incoming and outgoing calls, both local and foreign, in a courteous and prompt manner consistent with operating standards and escalates to Supervisor/Manager where necessary.Provides after-sales quality service to all clients by following up and confirming prompt and accurate completion of all inquiries, requests and transactions and guiding them on future investment transactions.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Management, Economics or related discipline.Three (3) years progressive experience in the financial services industry.Demonstrable experience in a similar capacity or in sales/business development capacity.
