Description The main responsibilities are:
Manage and conduct periodic evaluations of company processes, including financial controls.Identify gaps and generate action plans to enhance processes in different areas.Improve and manage the company's risk matrix, raising awareness of key risks in each area, and developing and implementing mitigation measures.Conduct functional audits, process audits, and system audits as necessary.Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and action items, generating monthly progress reports.Develop an automation system for processes and controls to streamline operations and reduce errors.Participate in regional projects with corporate best practices for local implementation.Conduct plant visits to verify compliance with processes, policies, and regulations, working collaboratively with staff and management to address gaps as a facilitator.Provide training, workshops, or support materials to foster a culture of compliance within the organization.Profile Sought We are looking for a professional Auditor Accountant with at least 8 years of experience in Internal Audit, Management Control, or Finance to enhance and develop the Internal Control in Chile. This role involves working closely with corporate teams to implement procedures and strategies that must be tailored to local needs and each area (no direct reports). The objective of the role is to implement and supervise systems and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations across all company processes, keeping them updated and relevant over time. This position requires collaborative work with all teams, giving direct support to BU (Canada and Australia, 20% of daily time).
