Plan, develop, and reinforce the presence of Emerson Automation Solutions with Industrial Software (ISW) vision supporting the ISW strategy across BUs in Chile. This role will be measured by achieving the sales, profit and orders targets set for the ISW Solutions in Chile.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Develop and implement in conjunction with the World Area organization a specific business development plan for Industrial Software in Chile. Present technology or solutions during customer/sales events or seminars, focused on identifying gaps between "as-is" and "to-be" architectures, with the client's business objectives in mind. Articulate the overall solution and provide the vision with an understanding of the customer's business and technology needs, to improve Emerson content in Value Improvement Practices (VIP), to lead the solution construction and follow up.  Build a collaborative network with local and global solutions consultants to optimize consultancy efforts and handle all support requests within the region. Create continuity between sales and execution processes by ensuring a common understanding of requirements between client, sales, and execution teams. Establish and sustain positive collaborations. Coordinate with the Professional Services Organization and be the technical reference for pursuits, providing technical expertise, input into proposal generation and resource estimation, assessments of commercial and technical risk associated with potential work. Work with Operations in Chile and customer success managers to coordinate initiatives and customer needs with EMR Operations teams. Perform face-to-face contact with key customers for building a positive relationship; get key early sales related information, get account organizations understanding and intelligence activities to know in advance its concerns, plans and purchasing criteria. Train sales force to adopt ISW vision detecting opportunities in a very early stage. Promotes communication, integration, and collaboration for improved opportunity development efficiency. Communicate and make strong connections with clients peer-level. The SSC will have ultimate accountability for the solution development and ownership, including vision development and cross-platform awareness within multiple industries. Participate in all required training provided by the company, such as those related to Trade Compliance and all training related to compliance with legal regulations and / or Corporate Policies and may also be the mentor/guide of these issues if it is required. Who You Are:
You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You build teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You optimally communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree required – Chemical Engineering field preferred.  Process or industry background preferred. 5 year's sales consultancy experienced in IT. Knowledge in Metals and Mining is a plus.  Understanding of hardware architecture layers and infrastructure.  Knowledgeable of Big Data interactions and management including Data Lake and Data interchange via connectors (UPC UA, MQTT). Knowledge about data integrations into Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Centralized Maintenance Management Systems (., IBM Maximo, SAP). Strong facilitator and communicator with excellent presentation skills Proven track record to work with technical resources and sales management. Proficient in spoken and written English. Based in Santiago, Chile Must be aware of the political, economic, and specific process control market trends in the assigned territory to identify the best strategic opportunities for the division and take decisions based on proven grounds.
