We are currently searching for a Payroll Lead for our LATAM region. Our mission is to pay employees accurately and on time every time,
while keeping our costs controlled and complying with all regulatory requirements. This is an exciting and transformational opportunity that will lead the Payroll Team in the administration of Employee Entitlements both from an internal perspective and compliance with legislative requirements.

In this highly visible and critical role, you will support the establishment of the payroll governance framework and supporting processes and oversee the performance of both internal payroll teams as well as payroll service providers and keep all agreements current. This role will partner with senior leaders and internal stakeholders to develop strong partnerships with the Finance, Legal, HR and People Services teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Management of the payroll services teams across the full region/countries including supporting, mentoring and training.
- Management of internal and external payroll escalations.

- Manage approvals relating to payroll processing and third-party payments.
- Maintain Payroll Governance Framework and supporting processes.
- Management of internal and external audit and reporting requirements.
- Accountability for Employee record management related to payroll.
- Accountability for leave management advice and compliance.
- Accountability for management of Service Now related to payroll & ensuring team is adhering to SLA's.
- Accountability for payroll GL reconciliation if required.
- Accountability for input into applicable agreement review process, implementation and periodic audit of agreement clauses within the payroll system.
- Accountability to support Payroll team with end of year processes and reporting and liaisons with Finance.
- Accountability for regular & Adhoc business reporting.
- Accountability for regular system audits.

- Compliance to legislation and reporting across the various countries.
- Management of Annual Rem increases & Annual OIP Bonus payments, outsourced payroll provider/s, Payroll & T systems – including system change requests, system upgrades and payroll communications across the business.
- Drive management of payroll change requirements through engagement, communication and risk mitigation.
- Project involvement as required.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in payroll operations & leadership or consulting with extensive exposure to payroll transformation case work.
- Previous exposure in delivering payroll implementation and transformation programs.
- Extensive Time and Attendance knowledge.
- Excellent understanding of HR/Payroll policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills,
with proficiency across the Microsoft suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Advanced written and verbal English skills (mandatory).
- Advanced verbal Portuguese skills (highly regarded, not mandatory).
