Full-time role Remote As an Accountant at Aveva Chile, you are a team member responsible for keeping correct and up-to-date books in accordance with Aveva group guidelines and local regulations, in a timely manner.
Aveva expects you to be autonomous and able to take the initiative for improvements necessary for the proper functioning of the Finance department, being efficient and communicating to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Principle Accountabilities:Monthly and annual cut-offBank and credit card reconciliationAccount analysis and reconciliationAccounts payableWork in accordance with local VAT and corporate tax rules and withholding taxesCash managementSupport Month-End CloseMaintain accounts receivable and issue invoicesAssist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with company legal and financial guidelinesExperience needed - You will have:2 years of experience under Chilean law and local accounting rulesExperience and/or tax knowledge - VAT F29/F50Excel knowledgeA PLUS:Experience using OracleAVEVA requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
