Position Description: Amereco is seeking full-time individuals to join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to its clients. This staff-level consultant and/or engineer position involves fieldwork, design, and project management. Responsibilities will include conducting Phase I and II environmental site assessments, brownfield investigations, sample collection, data interpretation, report preparation, and managing remediation projects. The role requires collaboration with project managers, engineers, and geologists, providing an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience necessary for leading future projects and becoming a licensed professional: engineer, geologist, scientist and/or other environmental licensing. Team members will handle multiple projects simultaneously and will work with various colleagues. Travel may occasionally be required; it will be primarily local travel, although occasional out-of-town travel for one or two days may be necessary. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or environmental related field Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation Ability to travel and work overtime as needed Ability to walk/climb over rough terrain and carry up to 40 lbs Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening (additional screenings may be required for certain projects) Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Ability to evaluate data and prepare detailed reports Capability to balance multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Ability to work with multiple Project Managers and teams to complete projects efficiently Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client interactions Qualifications: Successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam State of Indiana Engineer certification Experienced with AutoCad Experience with Brownfields, HUD, EPA, and IDEM Specialized training and licensing in the environmental, safety and health fields 3+ years of experience Typical Duties: Prepare Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments Conduct multi-media field sampling Oversee abatement, demolition, cleanup, and stabilization projects Assist with Lead Risk Assessments/Inspections, Asbestos Surveys, Indoor Air Quality Surveys Prepare technical reports of varying complexity Provide supportive services to team members across a wide variety of projects Benefits: Competitive Wages Company-sponsored insurance Paid time off (personal and vacation days) Retirement fund matching 401(k) and Profit Sharing Paid holidays Paid training Opportunities for advancement and professional growth Assistance with becoming a Professional Engineer Amereco is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
