Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our frontend and backend development teams, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
This role requires a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
The Engineering Manager will play a critical role in shaping our software architecture, driving technical excellence, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a fully remote development team of 20 engineers across frontend and backend disciplinesCollaborate with CTO and Chief Al Officer to define and execute the technical vision and strategy for our productsOversee software architecture and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our solutionsManage project timelines, resource allocation, and team deliverables to meet company goalsGuide the team in adopting best practices for coding, testing, and DevOps processesFoster a collaborative engineering culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and innovationProvide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team membersStay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the teamRequired Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership rolesHands-on experience with both frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Python)Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)Strong software architecture expertise, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systemsExperience with AWS, including certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer)Proven ability to manage and scale remote engineering teams effectivelyA track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budgetExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsC1/C2 (advanced/proficient) level English is requiredPreferred Qualifications: Experience working in startups or similar, fast-paced environmentsFamiliarity with Al and machine learning concepts, tools, and applicationsStrong understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications
