Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated EDI Software Developer with strong programming expertise to enhance, support, and troubleshoot proprietary software solutions.
This role involves direct collaboration with clients, problem-solving, and the development of tools tailored to meet diverse business needs.
Key Responsibilities Software Support & Development:Maintain and enhance our client's Visual FoxPro-based software solutions.Develop and optimize code for efficiency and functionality within a fast-paced environment.Programming:Develop, configure, and optimize EDI translation maps to facilitate seamless data exchange between trading partners.
This includes translating raw business data into standardized EDI format (X12) for various documents such as Purchase Orders, Shipping Notifications, and Invoices.
Utilize the proprietary platform to ensure accurate mapping, data validation, and alignment with customer-specific requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data structures, resolve translation errors, and implement solutions that enhance data integrity and interoperability.Implement and maintain APIs to integrate third-party solutions seamlessly.Troubleshooting:Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues for end-users, ensuring seamless system performance.Work independently to address complex problems while delivering clear, effective solutions.Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience:At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Visual FoxPro, past or present.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Skills:Advanced programming proficiency in Visual FoxPro.Excellent written English communication skills.Desirable Skills Knowledge of communication protocols, networking in Windows OS, and AWS environments.Familiarity with API development and integration.Understanding of inventory and order fulfillment systems.Experience working with US-based customers.Employment Type Full-Time: Permanent position with long-term growth opportunities.Remote Work: Fully remote work is the right way!Work Schedule: US-based schedule (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST) with observance of US holidays.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and business participation benefits.Why Join Our Client?
